W. Brad James
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Brad James is a seasoned executive in the offshore drilling industry, with over forty years of leadership experience. He currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Offshore Drilling LLC; a company he helped establish in 2016. Under his leadership, Enterprise has grown into a leading provider of offshore drilling services, recognized for its operational excellence and a culture that prioritizes its people.
A 1981 graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Brad has built a distinguished career in the energy sector. Before founding Enterprise, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Hercules Offshore, where he led global marketing efforts for the company’s drilling divisions. He also held a range of senior leadership roles at major firms including Transocean, R&B Falcon, Cliffs Drilling, Field Drilling and Southland Drilling.
In 2024, Brad was elected Chairman of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), where he now serves as Immediate Past Chairman and a member of the IADC’s Executive Committee. He also sits on the board of the IADC DrillersPAC, actively contributing to the advancement of industry advocacy and policy.
Brad’s career reflects a deep commitment to the offshore drilling industry and a proven ability to lead organizations through dynamic and challenging markets.
Shannon Guidry
President and Chief Operations Officer
In June 2025, Mr. Guidry was appointed President & Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Offshore Drilling after serving as Chief Operating Officer since early 2017. With over 30 years of experience in the offshore drilling industry, Mr. Guidry brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to the company.
Before joining Enterprise Offshore Drilling, Mr. Guidry spent more than two decades with Hercules Offshore, where he held key positions including Vice President Worldwide Operations, Vice President Western Hemisphere Operations, Mexico Country Manager, and various rig-based management roles. His extensive global operational experience spans regions such as West Africa, India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Mexico, Alaska, the Caribbean, and the U.S. Gulf of America, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of complex offshore environments.
Travis G. Fitts, Jr.
Senior Vice-President & CFO
Mr. Fitts joined Enterprise Offshore Drilling in 2021 as Vice President of Human Resources and Information Technology and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2023.
Before joining Enterprise, Mr. Fitts held several executive leadership roles across the energy and offshore drilling sectors. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and HSE at Independence Contract Drilling, and previously as Senior Vice President of HR, HSE, and IT at Sidewinder Drilling. He was also Vice President of HR and HSE at Scorpion Offshore and held various leadership positions at Transocean in Human Resources, Marketing, Quality, and Health, Safety & Environment. Throughout his career, Mr. Fitts has had regional responsibilities spanning North and South America, the North Sea, West Africa, Asia, India, and the Middle East. He began his career as an engineer and spent several years in operations, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both field and corporate functions.
Mr. Fitts earned a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Engineering from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Rice University. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Southern Federal Credit Union and is a former Chairman of the Petroleum Section of the National Safety Council.
Johnathan Roberts
Vice President of QHSE
Mr. Roberts brings over 30 years of experience in drilling rig operations, construction, and quality assurance, with a proven track record of leading multinational teams on complex projects across the globe. His extensive background includes senior leadership roles such as International Operations Support Manager and Senior QHSE Manager at Hercules Offshore, Vice President of Operations at AEP USA, and Gulf of Mexico Rig Manager for Hercules Offshore Company.
Mr. Roberts has also held key project management positions, including Senior Project Manager at TODCO (The Offshore Drilling Company) and Project Coordinator at Ensco International, along with various other leadership roles in both domestic and international capacities within the oil and gas industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Science in International Business (MSIB) from Al Ghurair University in Dubai. In addition, Mr. Roberts is a Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, reflecting his strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
