Enterprise Offshore is a newly formed, privately-owned limited liability company founded in January of 2017. Part of our history lies with Hercules Offshore, Inc. In 2016, a group of former Hercules executives and board members raised the capital to purchase the company’s U.S. assets and founded Enterprise Offshore Drilling LLC. A large majority of our Enterprise Offshore family are ex-Hercules employees. Despite being a new name, our clients and other industry stakeholders know and respect our pedigree.
Enterprise Offshore is built on a foundation of empowering our employees to succeed and foster valuable, lasting relationships with customers. On January 24th, 2017 we acquired a fleet of 10 jack-up rigs, a world class management system, a long term lease on a shore-based facility in Houma, Louisiana, drilling spares and supplies, and hired our “first twenty eight” offshore employees. Today we employ over 500 highly competent and experienced people.
